Anyone have an idea of the manufacturer or design it is based off of?
I bought it off of Ebay, and speculate if its a instrument or just a toy?

Love it! 50's or 60's - don't know manufacturer, but there were so many made. Of those I've played I love the sound. Looks v similar to a TV Pal

The circle on the headstock reminds me of a Lisa or Mauna Loa. It doesn't have a zero fret, like a TV Pal or Islander. The nut looks very high. I wonder if the action will be high too. I don't think it has any relation to any of the 1950's ukes that I know.

If you get it strung, please let us know how it plays.

The circle looks recessed, like a Lisa. Mauna Loa seems to share the same printed circle with Aloha, Royal Hawaiian, and Kono Isle.

I looked through the photos on this page, but found none that were a good match for the peghead shape of the uke in question.

Unfortunately, I tried to set it up, and the action is much to high, and even it wasn't the frets are insignificant and dont allow for proper chording. Oh well, it will make a nice decoration.
