Interview with Amanda Palmer

This interview includes this quote from the ukuleleist Ms. Palmer:

"Techno made on a Mac laptop with a ukulele usually sounds like ass!"

..and by the look of her eyebrows from her photo on the page, someone should confiscate her Sharpies.

The part of the quote before that is, I think, more interesting:

"...a good song is still a good song. If it's played on a ukulele and recorded with a laptop microphone, it might strike a deeper chord, and with more people, than a $100,000 pop track with every bell and whistle. I love that. It's just the way the human soul is engineered. Your heart's emotional response to music doesn't give a [hoot] about Pro Tools."

I agree.
