When I was six, Saturday morning started with dad playing his steel guitar (always starting with Bob Wills San Antonio Rose), moved to breakfast, a little cartoon action...finished with me, my sister, mom, and Charlie Dog the wonder pooch line dancing through the living room while Don Cornelius used his soothing baritone voice to teach us about Soul Music. He was the Superfly.
Pretty much created the me I am today, and man do I miss those times. Thankfully the music has remained.
Stuck in my head.
My silly little tribute to a man I hold in the highest regard- hope you all will line dance with me in his honor. Figured some of you music heads might like it, in spite of soul music and Ukulele having very little to do with each other.
