What does every body have one theirs? Am looking for a new set.

A lot of the folks who play or own a Koaloha prefer a fluorocarbon set from Worth, Freemont, or Martin.

Southcoast Light or Medium is very good for Koaloha.

Worth CL. I've tried others, but these produce the cleanest tone for me, and give the best feel fingerpicking.

But not Medium Soft. I can tell they're good strings, but they're giving my Koaloha concert a sad. :( Why did I think mellow was a good idea?

I have some Fremont hard Blacklines, and some Martins. The Martins are going on soon. I wanted to step out of the Worths comfort zone.

Thanks gang. Got a set of Martins to put on there. Hoping it will help the sound and maybe the intonation some more.

I hope they eventually release their own blend of string. I'm one of those that really likes the stock strings. They're fluorocarbon, probably straight up fishing line, related to Worths, but they feel rougher and catch on my fingers better.

Put a set of Martins on last night an am SO HAPPY now with the sound. Intonation has improved too. Nice bright clear tone. Thanks gang!
