NAMM for non-performers and non-vendors?

I know NAMM was really crowded and really noisy. But is there anything like this for ukers who aren't performers or vendors? There is a very small ukulele "show" at our annual festival, but it would be fun to see a lot more ukuleles and banjoleles in one location, you know, like a gun show...

Some of the larger festivals, like the San Diego Ukulele Festival attract a lot of vendors and sponsors. Check out the sponsors at the bottom of this page:

I did a search for "music swapmeet", only to learn that we did have such a thing locally:
