Hi everyone,
I'm a "beginner" who seems to be more than hooked and I'm really coming along skill-wise.
I'm searching for a good quality, reasonably priced uke and I have fallen for KoAlohas. BUT, I can't justify it, so I'm equally infatuated with KoAlana.
I'm new to this forum, but am an active member at many other forums, and I have a perfect track record.
If anyone is looking to sell a KoAlana, I'm interested in possibly buying
it. I'm looking to spend <$150.
Thanks everyone!

If you have played the KoAlana and like it, that's great and it will serve you well. But, if you haven't played one yet, remember that they are not made by Koaloha. It's sort of an authorized knock-off. You're right that Koalohas are wonderful instruments, but the KoAlohas are hardly related. I always think it's best to buy only instruments you have played. $150 is still a lot.

How does the performance compare to Lanikai LU and Kala KA? I'd be up for the extra $50 for looks alone if they play as nicely as those two.
Thanks for the response, by the way!
