"Pallet on the floor" is an old time / country blues song that has been around since the early 1900s. It was originally referenced in the Journal of American Folklore XXIV 278 in 1911. It has been covered by many, many folks over the years including Mississippi John Hurt, Doc Watson, Mike Seeger, and Gillian Welch.

Great job on a great song.

Thanks everyone! I really enjoy this song, although, it made me want to put a low G back on my tenor so I could fingerpick the whole thing.

This is very smooth Eric, a lovely version of this and the picking interludes really give it some dynamic.

Thanks Jon. I have been trying to work on more melody playing. I still need start using more second position chords and finding the melody there. I am creeping along in my learning process.
