***SOLD***

I bought this Pono tenor just a few days ago and I was unable to return it in time due to poor communication on my part. The reason I wanted to return it was a hairline crack on the fretboard that I noticed a little to late. I took it to two luthiers who both said it was an easy fix, purely cosmetic. but I would rather not keep the instrument with a crack because it worries me (slight paranoia I guess). There is also a small ding on the binding, and spot in the grain where it curves oddly. Otherwise the instrument sounds amazing with minimal wear, one of the better sounding ukes in my collection to be honest (plus it is a limited edition to my understanding). I'll sell it for 400$ + the cost of shipping, that price is set and non-negotiable and it includes the uke, a case, and a fresh set of Worth clear strings. Can only ship within the U.S.

Specs

I thought as the previous seller, I would chime in as well. This was a bummer situation for both myself and Scarfed Bandit. The hairline crack in the fret board was not evident to me, but became so at some point between shipping and the trail period. I actually would have happy taken the uke back after the 48hrs, but I had committed those funds to another seller!

This is a great little uke, and given that the crack was not even visible to me over two months, I concur that it is cosmetic. This is a steal at $400 and I only sold it because I got a great offer to buy a Collings UT1.

Oooh, this is tempting. I've been looking for a decent tenor, and this is right up my alley and pretty close to what I was planning to spend.

I'm also a newbie (I know - a newbie with the panache to be drooling over a pretty Pono? Whatfor?!) and need something pretty well ready to play. I figure since it's been through three UU owners now, she's all set up and good to go?

Oh absolutely, she's lovely uke, email me when you get a chance, I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have and get you a shipping estimate if you want.
