For sale is a circa 1930’s Martin Style 1 soprano ukulele. It’s a great little uke but I’m not playing it that much and I need to raise funds for upright bass accessories. This uke has a C.F.Martin decal on the headstock and bar frets. It plays and sounds great with low action and accurate intonation, but it does show signs of wear from use. There are repaired cracks on the back and I had a repairman inlay some mahogany into the bridge and re-cut two of the bridge slots which were too worn to hold the strings. There are no cracks on the top or sides and the neck and headstock are in fine shape. This is a great “players” uke that you won’t be afraid to take to the jam session. The original tuners work fine and it comes with the original canvas bag which looks cool but does not offer much protection. The price is $400 shipped (no international shipping).
