I picked up on a whim a Fishuku soprano. I thought I'd support a local Texas company, Goldfish Guitars. They apparently own the patent on the fish shaped instrument. It sounds okay for an inexpensive laminate soprano. It came with Aquilla strings so you can't go wrong.

Note the fishtail head stock, the whaletail saddle, the fish body; what a hoot. This is the "expensive" zebrawood model that they are selling for $149.00. I was able to pick it up for $100.00 and that is what I'm asking for it Plus $10.00 shipping of course.

As always, trades are welcome too.

As I said, I picked it up on a whim and I really don't need this instrument. I just wanted to look at one. PM me here or e-mail me, dprovines@provines.net

I have to admit, that looks kinda awesome!
How does the sound compare to the standard beginner ukes, like Lanikai LU-11s, Kala KA-P, etc?
I'm strangely interested in this....
Canada shipping?

With the Aquillas, it is bright. I wouldn't say it is any better of worse than the other beginner ukes. I will ship to Cananda if you'll pay actual shipping. Thanks for asking!

I'm kind of in love with that thing.

But NO! MUST RESIST! No more novelty ukes!!!
