These are great sounding ukes! All Solid Koa, Mahogany necks, and include a gigbag. I don't really care for the strings on them, they seem to be very bright. Going to restring one of them and see what it does for the sound.

Elderly also has the T1K for $499, which is super-competitive! Big Island, Mele & Kelii will have stiff competition this year.

It's a bummer they're made in Mexico, I would much rather spend my money on an American made uke. I'm guessing I'd have to spend more money for the USA made ones?

Ok,I see now! 2k's American made and 1k's Mexican made? Will be interested in seeing the reports on the 1k soprano. Thanks for the heads up.

So where exactly IS your shop??

No one would buy the Mexican-made ones if the American-made ones were cheaper...

Great thing with these is you are supporting a USA company, who provides many jobs in the USA :)

We are in Rockford, IL www.randeesmusic.com & www.facebook.com/RandeesMusicCenter I'm working on making our shop THE spot for ukuleles in the Midwest :) 2012 is going to be big for what we have coming with ukes and new uke brands :D

Sorry guys.

An increase in spam and people trying to abuse the forum for commercial purposes means that we're having to enforce the rule about keeping links to personal and business websites in signatures.

We are aware that the rules may need a little clarification and we are working on that.

Apologies for any inconvenience, and thanks for your patience and understanding.
