R.I.P. Gary Carter......one of the great ones...

I was saddened very much upon learning of the passing of Gary Carter....he will be remembered as one of the really great catchers in the big leagues like Yogi I would think....he is now an eternal member on another ball team...O, how my mind races back to Gary's playing days with the Expos and the Mets.....brought me to tears as I watched TSN flashbacks this morning....Duane.

Yes...a very sad day for baseball and thier fans. I have always admired Gary's play and his attitude. He reminded me of the players from the years gone...played for the love of the game, played hard and gave back to the fans. Gary always had a smile on his face.
This coming from a Boston Red Sox fan (from the late 60's).

RIP Gary..the pain and the battle are over, now it's time to get your real reward.
