View Full Version : Offered: Basic, broken soprano ukulele

I accidentally broke the bridge by sliding it down a table.:wallbash:

The body is still OK, and before it wasn't a bad player. Obviously an inexpensive instrument, and the action was a little high, but as you'll be fitting a new bridge you'll fix that - right?

Now, I could fit a new bridge. But I much prefer playing ukes to attempting to fix them.

So, I offer it to one of you lovely ukers, on this basis:

1. You pay me exact postage.
2. I post it to you.
3. If you do something with it, make a small donation(whatever you see fit) to a cause you consider worthwhile, and drop me a line to say it's living a new life. Photos optional, but will be nice.

And of course if you can collect from my boat, currently at Mercia Marina (http://www.merciamarina.co.uk/) just outside Derby you can skip steps 1 and 2!

Can't say fairer than that then?

Perhaps you should review the rules on posting (http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?20832-How-to-Sell-Ukuleles-in-the-Marketplace-READ-BEFORE-POSTING)a uke for sale, and revise your listing.

It's not actually for sale. It's free. S&H will be whatever it costs to wherever it's sent. I don't know what that is until you ask. Of course, you can collect it for nothing.

But I will do photos. My internet is rubbish here, I have to go out while my photobucket pictures get uploaded.

Here you go:

If there's no interest, in a couple of weeks it will be in that stove rather than on it.

Hi Chris,
Do you know the manufacturer of this ukulele ?

I'm afraid not.

It's nothing special. Don't go thinking it's a Martin!

Saying that, it DID play quite well.

Hey Chris, can I call dibs on this? Hoping to get along to Willington this evening to say hi so could maybe grab it then?
Happy to make a donation to charity to keep the karma going. :shaka:
