Hello, all. I just got myself a Samson CO1U USB Condensor Mic. I love the sound quality I get from it, but I'm having what seems to be a software issue.
I am using Cakewalk Sonar 8, and I have had great success with it recording small sound samples to get my gains and EQ settings set. However, as I was recording my vocal track, out of no where, it stopped recording. I didn't discover this until I was playing it back.
I didn't touch my computer the entire time it was recording. I didn't run out of disk space. I'm stumped.
I doubt that it's a hardware issue, as my computer doubles as a gaming computer that I have spent many hours between building and overclocking to maximize its performance.
I'm hoping someone out there has a quick answer! I don't want to waste any more time than I have to since I hardly have any time to do this between taking care of my son and working 50 hours a week!
Thanks,
Allen
