My original setting of "Goodnight Moon" for ukulele

That would be a great tune, for a kiddies lullaby at bedtime. Very nice.

It is. I sing it to my babes when I rock them. In fact I made the tune up while doing just that. It was an a cappella tune for a long time until I figured out some chords for it. Thx!

This is great, Alan - I wish my kids were still young enough (or old enough) to appreciate it.

I just noticed your location is 'Middle of 'Merica'. For months, just glancing, I've thought it said 'Middle of Mercia', some off-kilter Anglo-Saxon reference. Things make so much more sense when you actually read them.....

That is a great painting. I found myself looking for all the objects as they were
sung out in the song. I know with my own kids when they were young I used
to read to them and ask them to point out the things I was reading. The books
were Richard Scarey ones with animals performing human tasks. As a parent
you then get some idea of their comprehension of things, and it also increases their
vocabulary.

A great book is the Circus Ship. Here is a 5 y/o reciting it. At the end she shows a
page where all the circus animals are blended into the back-ground. Kids like to
look for and find things that are hidden. I do to. It improves perception.
