Here are some random ukulele sightings at the Martin Guitar factory. They mix the ukes right in with the guitar production. Also a shot of me playing a soprano made in the Mexican factory.

What model(s) were the ukes? Did you learn anything interesting?

Is that Martin bottled water in the last photo?

Thanks for sharing!

Yes, very cool, I was at the factory last week and noticed the ukes.

I have been to the Nazareth factory! When I was there they were working on a really neat uke with a super intense samurai inlay. I didn't get any pictures, but Martin does not mess around when it comes to inlays.

So dumb question, is that the factory in Mexico? How were conditions there?

It's the Nazareth PA factory. The uke I was playing was the only one available to the public and was the solid mahogany soprano made at the Martin factory in Mexico.

Couldn't tell what models they were but I didn't see any koa. The interesting thing to me was that they have no special section/employees/equipment for ukulele production. They just send them through with the guitars.
