Mim Strikes Again

These showed up perfect as has everything from miss mim.

The banjolele is a hoot. This thing has a neck like a log, it's huge. Love that about it. It has ROARING volume and that great clunky vintage tone. I actually had to dampen it it is so loud. I quickly put worth CM's on both of them. Not a big aquila fan.

The zebrawood is a sweetheart, I believe this one came from namm and the grain is stellar. I do not know why but I expected big projection from this one. Turns out it is very mellow, beautiful warm even tone. It kinda sounds like my kala smhs with a touch of extra bass and tad less treble.

Beautiful zebra! I tried a zebrawood soprano before and also found that it is rather mellow! I'm waiting for my mango concert from Mim too :drool:

Love them both, I agree, zebra wood has a beautiful tone.
