Aloha!

I've been strumming my uke coming up with some creative chord progessions (or at least ones that are pleasant to my ear)...but I missed the C string while going for a A7 chord, and caught the E-string on the first fret, and I liked the sound of it; G/C/F/A.

I was basically playing an F chord with the G-string open. I've looked at a bunch of chord charts online but could find a name for it. It is sort of a Fsus2 with an A note thrown in there.

Anyone with advanced knowledge have a name for this chord? Is it even a chord at all?

You could also call it a C6sus4 or Am7#5/C, though you probably wouldn't :p

Well, what ever the name, it sounds good.
I was just wondering what key it was in so that I would know where to find it on the chord wheel...in any case, it sounds good followed by a Bbm6 chord.

Any number greater than 7 after the chord letter implies that the 7 belongs there, too (like WS64 stated). Saying "add9" does not imply the same thing.

A Bbm6???

Que?
