Does anyone know if the aquila bass uke strings will work on the Kala U-Bass? I want to know if they can be tuned to regular bass tuning. EADG. Anyone?

Yes, that's what they are for. They are tighter, feel a bit less rubber-bandy than the stock strings. They are white just like all their strings. A couple guys asked if they would make custom colors, but Aquilla feels white-only strings are important to maintaining brand integrity.

Road Toad Music, which makes the Pahoehoe strings for the U-Bass has a "Dreads" set. Black, red, green and yellow.
