What do you think has been easier and / or better sounding? I'm currently looking up different kinds of Uke's, so I can buy my first one, and I've played guitar for a few years now. I don't want to blow the bank so I think I'm going with the Lanikai 21-Standard but I don't want to end up with a fifty dollar piece that's too hard to have fun with... with what I saw, even beginners can have fun but I want to get your ideas! Thanks in advance!

There are numerous threads about a first uke as well as positive comments regarding the Lanikai. Lanikai and Kala make for good starter ukes. Another source would be MGM (http://stores.ebay.com/Musicguymics-Room_Brand-New-Ukuleles_Tangi-Ukes_W0QQcolZ2QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ7330330QQftidZ2QQtZ km); he has a number of instruments for beginners. His number and email address is on the site. Before I forget, he won't be available for the next two weeks, if you can wait.
