Hi folks,

Here's another Renaissance dance by Adrian Le Roy. It's called "Premier Bransle de Poictou." As in the other lutekulele video I posted, this piece was originally written for Renaissance guitar, an eight string instrument that is strung like a baritone uke with each pair of strings in unison.

This one is much easier to play than the "Bransle de Champaigne" I posted previously, mostly just moving between the C, G and F major chords.
The source where I found this piece had it structured: AABBA (i.e.: rounded binary form - for those of you theoretically inclined), and then another section with the same aabba structure and the same music with added ornamentation.
In this video, I shortened the form to: AaBA (so I'd have fewer chances to make video ending mistakes and for brevity's sake).
