Baby Mine

This is a song from "Dumbo". This was one of several songs I used to play from a Disney songbook for my daughter when she was little.

I did this for the Oscars Week challenge of the Six Seasons of the Ukulele contest. I tried out songs from "Live and Let Die" to "That Thing You Do" to "Down to Earth" (from Wall-E). But I liked the way this sounded when I sang it in a bluesy style.

This is really great - one of the best videos you've posted, IMO..... really nice arrangement - suits your voice and playing style to a 'T'. Well done, man....

Interesting twist on a song I've always loved. I sing it to my little one sometimes, but not so bluesy-like.

I learned it from a book of Disney sheet music for piano/vocal/guitar. I don't know if anyone has done tabs for it.

I didn't sing it bluesy when I was playing it for my daughter. But for this contest, I was looking for a more interesting way to perform it. So I channeled my inner blues singer, Blind Lemon Kawika.
