John Grey & sons banjo

Hi Guys

Just inherited this little beauty.

I've done some surfing and found plenty of info on the company but cant find anything on this model. "the Douglas" is engraved on the body but the only Doulas i've found is open backed? I'm keen to find a value for insurance purposes. All i know is that my grandfather bought it at the Londen music show in the early 90s and we were all sworn to secrecy so my gran didn't find out how much he'd spent (he kept that figure to himself too!)


Any help would be great.
