Hi All,

I was viewing some videos and on Aldrine's ukulele and some others, there is a dangling charm thing hanging off the tuning peg of the ukulele (at the top of the ukulele where you tune your ukulele). What is that? Is it simply a charm or a ukulele pick holder case that dangles from the uke? Although I think most uke players strum with their finger, I suppose there are still some that would use a pick. Seems like a cool way to store a pick. I would post a pic if I had one, but sorry, I do not have one. If someone could answer my question, that would be one more uke mystery solved for me.

Cheers,

I think it's just a charm. But there is no reason you shouldn't dangle a pick-holder from the headstock. Just be aware that whatever you dangle may damage the finish of your ukulele, if you keep it in a case or bag, or swing it around too vigorously.

It's called bling.
