Thanks! I know it's straddling the line about how loud the uke is, but I listened to it again and you can still understand my words and everything. It's a powerful song, and I couldn't really hold back on the strumming. But thanks for the input!

I think a lot of folks on UU and at open mics I attend are insecure about their singing compared to their playing, so they hold back in their singing. I don't know whether that applies to you or not. But you have a nice voice, so don't be shy about singing out.

That's as loud as I can get, vocally, so I need to hold back on the strumming.
I've been whaling away lately. I need to remember to restrain myself on the strumming when I'm recording. Mousie
