traditional. Irish.

been a bit doddery these past few days so it gave me a chance to put together a simple instrumental arrangement of this timeless Irish song, just in time for St. Paddie's Day.

I recorded it in eugenie's studio and played it on a vintage (1950's) harmony baritone ukulele strung in re-entrant tuning. Cheers everyone and thanks for watching.

It's St. Paddy's Day in Tasmania, but not yet in the U.S., so we have extra time to listen to this. Thanks.

I adore this song, but I can't even read through the lyrics (2nd verse in particular) without getting misty-eyed, let alone sing it.

Very nice rendition.

I performed a duet of this on classical guitar two years ago (its on my youtube channel) and have a sweet spot for the melody. But I like yours better.

I see you got a baritone after all, nice. I'm itching to get one myself,

Thanks for sharing.

Sweetly played.

How're you finding baritone?

Hi Jon, loved the tune. How do you like the baritone? I really enjoy playing mine. I have mine tuned in the traditional bari tuning.

Cheers
