I'd rather give someone here the business rather than a big store.

Fair enough -- although as far as "big stores" go, Elderly is a pretty good place: great customer service, still owned by the guy who founded it in a basement 40 years ago, and they let you play anything. I think they're pretty special. It's more a big Mom n' Pop than a MegaStore.

I think Mike at Ukulele Republic is a Worth dealer -- he's a really good guy and a frequent participant here.

My pleasure! Great strings, they are!

In the spirit of supporting small businesses, a semi-related side note: next on my list are Southcoast Strings -- Dirk posts here and seems to have spent a potentially unhealthy amount of time considering ukulele strings (to our benefit, of course). He offers many different sets. The peanut gallery raves about them...

I bought mine from Elderly along with a few other things. Seems like when I can't find what I'm looking for if I go to Elderly they always have it.

Another vote for Elderly here. I bought my Worth low G clears from them. Great service and the only place I could find the Worth strings I was looking for.

Elderly. But, over $50 and free shipping. So, you'll be getting a lot of Worth strings. lol

Better yet -- OP's in Chicago... ROADTRIP!!! And then you get to play all of their great stuff. An excuse to drink some Michigan beer too!
