SOLD--THANK YOU!

A replica of a Sam Kamaka built cigar box tenor uke, using the very same cigar box, a 1886 Sam'l Davis. Sounds very sweet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cz0...DvjVQa1PpcFPpQPXYDjFS_wXlWSUhwxfTZKgqRx6ZTRw=

Samuel Kamaka chose this particular box for its tonal qualities--it produces a smooth and very loud/resonant tone with an old fashioned twang. Black Bear Ukuleles also uses this very same box to produce its cigar box instruments. Very easy and fun to play. Has a pickup, too.

The ukulele came with violin type tuners, similar to what Kamaka used. These have a tendency to slip, so I will include some peg drops which easily keep the tuners in place.

I have had this ukulele for about 3 years and am the original owner (it's even in my avatar and this very ukulele appeared in a close up shot in the New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/07/04/realestate/20100704-habi.html?ref=realestate#10). The uke has also been signed by Jake Shimabukuro--he took a close look at the instrument and loved it. Selling to raise funds and clear space.

Thanks Olarte--I would love to keep it, and I think it sounds as good as an $700 instrument, but I need space/$$.
