SOLD, TO THE GENTLEMAN WITH THE MEAN STRUM!

Here is a review I did of this ukulele, which I'm now putting on sale, sadly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvfL2aFBxqA. The luthier is Antonio Faria Vieira, you can see his beautiful instruments at: http://guitarrasdecoimbra.blogspot.com/2008/05/antnio-faria-vieira.html

When I bought the ukulele, he had just won an award for $10k for recreating an historic mandolin. The craftmanship on this is just excellent. I have played and owned ukuleles from some of the very best custom builders, and this is up there in terms of quality. The wenge wood is one piece, covering half of the top and the fret board--is has great black streaks, which almost look like they were drawn on, and is bound with a rope/herringbone pattern. Also has a purposely unfinished top for better vibration and sustain. Wenge is a dense African wood with tight straight grain and produces a sound with excellent projection and great sustain.

Am selling to raise funds and clear space. Includes hardcase.
