I bought this sweet little pup friday. I think it sounds pretty sweet, even without all the fancy metal bits I see on most banjukes... ;) However there is no manufacturer label. the only marking on it is right below the fretboard, under the strings on the body, a barely readable "Pat. APL'D For" stamped into the wood. I don't think I've ever seen anything collectible after 1933 with such a patent marking, but I'm no expert. Can anybody pin the manufacturer, approximate year of manufacture, and... maybe the woods its made of?
I got it for $75 and I think its worth every penny! :D

This is the only lead i could find on the thing:

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
