Misi preamp + Ke&K transducers?

The title pretty much says it all. Has anyone tried wiring the transducers from a K&K twin spot to the preamp/endpin jack of a Misi system?

Any reason someone would advise against this?

Will you be running the signal through an external preamp also?

No, that would be the point of the Misi preamp.

I just ordered a Twin Spot, so we'll see how it goes.

Let me know how that goes! I read somewhere (might have been on the MiSi site) that on the MiSi pickups the preamp is very sensitive to the capacitance of the input device - so much so that they designed the preamp around a specific length of the UST sensor ribbon.

Still, if the K&K works that would be a really sweet combo. MiSi convenience with the better tone of the K&K soundboard transducers! Wheee!
