I'm looking to get the action lowered and possibly getting pegheds installed on my kala flamed maple pocket uke.

Has anyone tried installing them? I'm wondering if the holes are small enough as I've read that sometimes headstock holes are too big for pegheds.

www,pegheds.net. PEGHEDS come in three shaft diameters 7mm;7.5mm;8mm.
If you have no micrometer, but you do have drill bits, if you remove one tuner and measure the hole: 17/64=7mm 743AF or 744Ebony ** 9/32= 7.5mm 7543A ** 5/16= 8mm 843A . My favorit is the 743AF. The spool is a little longer for wiinding on, and it is shorter out the back side. 743AF is 51mm tip to tip and the others are 58mm tip to tip. There are ways to make large holes smaller (which do not need a machineshop or a degree in engineering. :~)
