View Full Version : Darn, accidently ordered Martin Crystal Nylons (instead of Fluorocarbon).

Can anyone give me some feedback or a video sample of how Martin's Crystal Nylon for Baritone ukes sound?

I have already searched all over the forum, and all I've heard is that they either have mixed reviews, or aren't very good.

I was intending to get the Fluorocarbons, but accidently ordered a Crystal Nylon set *facepalm*

But since money is tight, I just might have to wait for it to arrive and see what they're like.

So any replies would be helpful on what to expect!

Is it shipped yet? I made a similar mistake once, contacted the shop, who were kind enough to: cancel the order and refund my paypal payment within minutes after my e-mail to them. (thesouthernukulelestore)

I haven't tried the baritone strings, but had them on a soprano and wasn't impressed, kind of on par with GHS and other nylon strings. I would definately try to contact the seller and see if you can change your order

I have messaged the seller (ebay store).

Hopefully they can rectify this for me :)

Darn, don't want "Crystal Nylons" by the sound of things...
