He's a British actor, I know him because he was in a Doctor Who episode a few years ago (and I think he narrated some of the DW Confidential eps back then as well).

He's also known for Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Paul. He plays quite large roles in the latest Mission Impossible and Star Trek films. He has an impressive filmography and has done substantial television work as well, and it's probably fair to say that he is basically the definition of a geek.

i looove simon pegg! he was brilliant in Shaun of the dead, and other cinematic productions,
oh, and, i am a wanna be ukulele geek....i play, sing....
for my own amusement and the torture of others..it gives me an outlet
for the musical madman inside of me.....damn those high notes!
