Hey guys,
I wasn't sure where to post this. Either here or get togethers.
For the past year or so i've been tinkering with a Game Called Second Life. Not sure if anybody is familiar with it or not. But its basically a 3d Chat environment world. Its a pretty cool thing once you get used to it...Interesting learning curve to it.....
Anyway, a friend of mine and I have been working on a venue where we do live gigs, Open mic and scheduled venues....Its a great way to market yourself or just jam!
The coolest thing about it is, You can get tips during the shows and exchange it for US Dollars......250 game dollars equals 1 USD....
To play live you need shoutcast.....We have people play live together and do a duet, One person is in the Netherlands and the other is in the USA...its pretty neat.........
Anyway, Thought i'd shout that out.... I am not gonna post websites or anything unless you guys want me too.....My avatar is a picture of the venue we own. i built a studio inside it
