Easter eggs, that is!
I played the annual easter egg hunt at our church today, as I do every year. It was fun. Being that it's a community event and that it's put on in conjunction with Albertson's grocery store, I'm never sure of the right mix of religious and secular songs to use. This year I forgot my list of secular songs at home, so I only did the few of those that I could remember. Mostly, it was silly Sunday School songs for the kids: Pharaoh Pharaoh to the tune of Louie Louie, If I was a Butterfly, etc...
I saw a few kids dancing and got some compliments from the adults.
I don't get to play out as often as I'd like because of family commitments, but I know that every year I'll be playing the Easter egg hunt and the spaghetti dinner/talent show at my kids' school.
