Scale is 11.66 inches. Not sure if it should be called a sopranino or a piccolo. I told the wfret program to print the scale 11.6 inches but it ended up 11.66, I think the paper absorbed humidity and grew.
I am adjusting the string height and waiting for the strings to settle. Current saddle has a lot of compensation (4.5 mm) but the thing won't stay in tune long enough to evaluate. I can reverse the saddle and get 1.6 mm of compensation and I am willing to make a new saddle with some intermediate amount. The saddle is made from rosewood, a scrap from the fingerboard. Once I decide on the saddle I want I will make a permanent one from bone.
