ID Help -- Old Hohner Baritone

Maybe you guys can help. I picked this up recently:

I've put an email in to Hohner to see if they can date it, but otherwise there's no info out there. (I think they made a student series pre-Lanikai, but I can't confirm it.)

It's solid mahogany, has the screwed down bridge of old, open geared tuners with plastic knobs.

If I had to guess, the second sequence on the label is 77, so 1977?

Any background info would be appreciated.

Turns out it is a '77, solid mahogany, made in Japan, non-deluxe version (doesn't have the then fancy tuning pegs).

And, a Hohner rep responded within 12 hours of my email. How's that for some sweet service.
