ok so last night where i live in so cal we got these winds called santa annas right. well the relative humidity is 5 percent i dont wana play my uke cuz im afraid it will dry up and crack. will this happen? shes sittn in her case right now suckn up some moisture so help. what should i do!

If it was in a case with a humidifier during the santa annas, it should be fine. Playing it won't cause it to dry, and if the weather's fine now than I don't see why you shouldn't take it out. If it doesn't have a humidifer and it's already cracked, then... there's not much you can do to prevent a crack anymore, is there? Just hope it's not anywhere important.

Its in a case with a humidifier but i just checked and it is 28 percent humidity

I'm pretty sure as long as you put it up with a humidifier when you aren't playing, you'll be okay.

i just throw a dampit in the body when playing...usually doesnt affect sound too much just make sure you dont have one that oozes water and you'll be fine...
