Need info on sending ukulele back to Hawaii for repairs?

Hope one of you guys could give me any info on this... I want to send my Kanile'a back so that Misi pickup can be fitted correctly, I did a home job on in but I'm not happy with it.
My question is, will I be charged import duty again or is there a way of paying the postage to send and return at the same time. Hope this makes sense.

I'm pretty sure you'll need to pay import fees there and back again. It would probably be cheaper for you to try and locate a reliable UK luthier.

You do not need to send it back to the manufacturer just to fit a pickup. Take it to Oasis Music in Ringwood, Hampshire. They will be able to fit it for you properly. http://www.oasismusic.co.uk/
