Mainland sting spacing at the bridge?

Hi, all!
I'm seriously considering a mainland tenor, but I was wondering if any owners could answer this question.
How much space is between the strings at the bridge?
I played a RipTide the other day and there was a ton of space near the bridge and I really enjoyed that.
Anybody played both and have any insight?
I think the Islanders are also supposed to be pretty roomy....
