Locking for a tenor g string with radiused fret board wondering if there's any around 1000

Yes, I don't think I have seen a maple Gstring.

Derek Shimizu was the owner as well as a builder of GString Ukuleles. He started building in 1993 in his garage located in Kaimuki. He then moved to a shop located in Halawa Valley on the island of Oahu and relocated to Keaau on the Big Island about 2-3 years ago. The name GString comes from the top string (GCEA) of the instrument rather than using a name with the letter 'K'. I don't know if he is still building. Here's a previous thread about GString.Wow, those are beautiful ukes! I wonder who built them...
