Soprano Neck Carve on a CNC

I'm a big fan of CNC and the art that goes along with the drawing, and cutting process, and can appreciate what you've done here. I would however recommend that you come up with a better hold down system because the neck is moving during the machining process of the headstock. Its most noticeable around the 4:20 point. Very nice job. What machine are you running?

Nek Fixtures

Thanks guys, for looking. We did notice the peghead moving but decided it was not a big deal for "show and tell" there is another machining operation not shown ( cut-out of the peghead and hole drilled but it requires relocating the part in another position, and the part can be resurfaced if need be. ) We are a small company and it's a matter of time and money for us to develop all the permant fixtures. I'm including some photo's of other fixtures.. just to show how involved the operation can be...... just making the fixtures.

Blessings,

Kevin
