Redwood Top / Rosewood back and sides Tenor/Concert

Has anyone had the opportunity to play a redwood topped tenor or concert size ukulele?

If so could you describe the sound compared to say an all mahogany?

I am thinking it would be similar to a cedar top as redwood is sometimes described that way for a guitar.

Anyone have any feedback they can share?

Yup! I've played a Redwood top and will tell you it is a dream Very dynamic. Mellow yet crisp. All mahogany sounds good too. If I were you I'd go Redwood. Mahogany will always be around. Unless it is cuban........
