Can somebody direct me to any active Uke groups in the St. Louis or Southern IL areas?

I'm still pretty new to playing the Uke, but I figured if I get brave enough, maybe I could go to a gathering and learn a thing or two sometime in the future.

Thanks.

Its not really a group but the Whole Earth Nuclear Ukulele Orchestra is playing Wed., May 16th at Broadway Oyster Bar. We are playing two sets of Tunes played by the Grateful Dead. This may be a great opportunity to connect with some local uke players. This is the first year I'm playing with them and it has been a blast! We have only had two practices but I've learned so much from everyone.

I'll also put a plug in for the Might MO Ukefest:

There is an open jam Friday night.

ipress - what time are you guys playing? I might check that out if I'm able to get over there after work.

cb56 - thanks for the info. I was afraid there would be a facebook page involved. I don't use facebook. ha ha! Might be worth getting an account to check that out.
