I do not have a Mya-Moe tenor uke, but I do have an all mahogany Gibson tenor uke and a Martin baritone in mahogany, as well as a 34 Martin 0-17 parlor guitar. I also have a Kanile'a tenor uke in koa. In a word, all mahogany bodied instruments are "sweet". A very smooth, elegant, almost refined tone with enough presence to avoid being too quiet. Personally, I absolutely love all mahogany and would not hesitate to order it.
For something different? I would also consider mango for it's warmth, sweetness and mid-range presence, and walnut for it's bright, clear highs...they are my other favourite tonewoods.
I'm a soprano player myself but I love all mahogany. I own three solid mahogany ukuleles: a Martin S1, a solid BadAax and a Harmony Roy Smeck. I like them much better than spruce or maple topped instruments. Koa is nice don't get me wrong but something about good mahogany really speaks to me!
