I've been roped in as studio musician by my friend.
And to top it off I got around nine days to get the material in, then we're gonna gig as well.
I got the bridge and the chorus nailed. Now I only need the strumming pattern on the verses in. Not bad for an evenings work...
Even got a blister on my thumb.. Lol

Good luck with the recording. By your post it sounds like you're more than capable to nail it.

I'll have it down by tomorrow..
It's only 3 tracks they want a uke on. So it'll be a piece of cake..
Only thing I need to decide whether I'll use an acoustic or electric.
I'm leaning towards an acoustic. High G tuning is a no brainer. Since they want that "happy go lucky uke sound".
As a bonus I get some extra practice time in..
I'm sitting with one song in front of me and pretty much have the timing to get dialed.
Thank heaven for my portastudio so I have the track to rehearse to..
I think I should be okay if I have three full days on each song..
May have to make myself a leather pick though.
I seriously doubt my thumb will stand up to over a weeks worth of intensive playing..
But it could be worse..
