So i'm going to get this ukulele tomorrow

Yeah, Ginger is pretty cool... so's Lucy... but my neighbor has a cat named Lucy, it's short for Lucifer...

I vote for Scarlett or Lucy.
I once had a dog named Ginger so that just doesn't seem like a uke name to me.

'ehu ... one of the definitions: Reddish tinge in hair, of Polynesians and not of Caucasians; one with ʻehu hair; reddish-brown complexion said to be characteristic of some ʻehu people; ruddy. (This ʻehu is invariably pronounced with an initial glottal stop.)

My dad called my red-headed nephew 'Ehu. Based on the definition above, It was not correct since the kid is haole. Understanding of Hawaiian was not as good in the 50's and 60's.
