Local ukulele player passed away today...

He was an awesome member of our local community. Boys and Girls Club, charities... His dad retired from the USMC and was very involved in the community too. We miss you Jr.

I hadn't read that article before, but I did know that he played the ukulele. I wish I'd been able to see/hear him play. Tragic loss, and so young, too.

I'll never forget his Superbowl performance. The man was inhuman.

I love that he had the uke right there in his car, ready at a moment's notice. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. He was a force to be reckoned with on the football field, and by all accounts a decent human being. Thanks for sharing this article.

As a USC alum, I was so sad to hear of his passing. He wore #55 to great glory for my beloved Trojans. You can hear and see a bit of his uke playing in this video.

I grew up in San Diego, and have been a faithful Chargers fan. Literally grew up watch his ferocity on the field, and generosity off the field. I'm terribly sadden by his loss.. thanks for posting this
