This model of Camp Uke isn't seen much as it was only made for about a year and is the original version of the timeless round little soldier, having no soundhole in the front and a banjo-style resonator on the rear.

The uke itself is made from solid monkeypod and has a midrangey, balanced sort of tone.

Very cool! What size is this uke?

Very unusual!

That's one sweet camp uke....haven't seen one with that type of resonator/back on it. I'm not crazy about soprano scale, but I'd learn to live with that one!!!!!

Ohhhh lust.

Nice one, Jake! My mahogany camp uke, with a sound hole, sounds great tuned up to D.

What a beautiful little thing. Especially the back resonator! Jake, where do you find all these beauties? Whenever I hit your blog I can't stop drooling!

I know that Jake gets some of them by outbidding me:uhoh:
